GN designed solids removal unit for mining drilling is a compact designed unit to remove the solids from the drilling fluids, the semi-dry solids are disposal by the truck and the fluids is drained off to the river or re-use for drilling.This unit can be designed for both skid mounted or trailer mounted portable for easy transportation from one rig site to another. Crude Oil Sludge separation equipments

GN solids control produced equipments can be used not only for oil drilling solids control system, but also be widely used for oil sludge separation. How to design a customized liquid mud plants?

Firstly we need to know the total volume of the LMP, so we can design the mud tank size and we can know the layout of each mud tank, how much bbl each mud tank, and how to fix them in the liquid mud plant.

Secondly we need to know what equipments will be used in LMP, including the mud recycling system, barite recovery centrifuge, high speed decanter centrifuge, pumps, pipelines, mixers, etc.

Barite recovery centrifuge system for sale in Houston

GN solids control designed barite recovery centrifuge system is welcomed to be checked in our Houston warehouse at 6710 Windfern road, Houston, TX 77040.

The configuration of this barite recovery system is as below:

1 GN Hi-G dryer shaker GNZS594E-HB, we have 10 units of such shakers in stock there, it is a 4-panel pre-tentioned screens shakers with total screens area 2.73 square meters. The function of the shaker is to separate the big solids and less the solids content before feeding to the decanter centrifuge.

2 GN variable frequency drive decanter centrifuge for barite recovery

Both of GNLW452 and GNLW453VFD centrifuge can be used for barite recovery, the most common model and effective way is GNLW452 centrifuge, if you want to change the speed based on the mud weight, you can change the pulley and belt, but it is inconvenient to change the pulley, you have to stop the centrifuge, anyway, it is the most economic way.

GNLW453VFD centrifuge is variable frequency drive centrifuge with high volume and high speed, you can change the speed by the PLC controlled VFD control panel if different mud weight.

The other option is to buy 2 units centrifuge, GNLW452 for high gravity centrifuge, GNLW363VFD or GNLW453VFD centrifuge for low gravity centrifuge.

Also with the Nemo brand feeding pump for the centrifuges.

Decanter centrifuge lubrication and cleaning

Decanter centrifuge can be used for various industries including food, chemical, paper, waste management, mining, oil recovery, oil & gas drilling, GN solids control brand decanter centrifuge is mainly used for drilling fluids industry, including solids control and drill cuttings waste management.

GN produced drilling fluids decanter centrifuge including high speed decanter centrifuge, low speed decanter centrifuge, middle speed decanter centrifuge and variable speed decanter centrifuge. For high gravity drilling mud, we recommend middle speed centrifuge. For low gravity drilling mud, we recommend high speed decanter centrifuge GNLW363G with 3200rpm rotary speed. If you bought our variable speed decanter centrifuge GNLW363VFD, you can adjust the speed by the PLC control panel. If you bought our rated speed decanter centrifuge, we can provide 3 sets of extra pulleys to change the high speed to middle speed or low speed decanter centrifuge.

For better performance of GN decanter centrifuge, you should pay attention to the following points:

1 Lubrication according to the lubrication chart we recommend, especially for the 2 bearing blocks, gear box, hydro-coupling.

2 Cleaning and flushing: the centrifuge bowl inside and outside should be flushing after every time start, to avoid the solids accumulated around the solids discharge port.

3 Proper feeding capacity to ensure there will not be too much solids accumulation.

4 Use proper speed for different drilling fluids, change the speed by change pulleys or by manually adjustment in the PLC control panel

5 Replace the spare parts in time once any wear parts are damaged

6 separate the big solids by shaker screens or hydrocyclones before feeding them to the decanter centrifuge

7 GN recommend Nemo screw pump as the feeding pump of our decanter centrifuge

8 Proper transportation and storage: During transportation, the safety guard should be tighten; and during operation, it should be released.

Besides of decanter centrifuge, this client also used our screw conveyor to collect the drilling cuttings and transfer them. Screw conveyor is specially used for drilling cuttings transferring in the drilling waste management system, especially for the drilling cuttings with less fluids, the performance of transfer is proved better than other transferring methods.

The most essential factors of the screw conveyor quality is the bearings and screw propeller, it is often used horizontally or at a slight incline to transfer the materials.
