La centrífuga decantadora (decantadora) tiene un amplio campo de aplicaciones en varios procesos donde continuamente deben ser separadas una fase líquida y una sólida.
Principio de funcionamiento:
La centrífuga es alimentada a través de un tubo estacionario, el cual se encuentra dentro de un eje hueco conectado al transportador helicoidal giratorio (espiral). Luego entra en un compartimiento de alimentación y es acelerado a través de ranuras de alimentación dentro de la tina giratoria. Una vez dentro de la tina, las fuerzas centrífugas aceleran los sólidos pesados, donde se sedimentan en la pared de la tina. El líquido más ligero llena la tina hasta el nivel del dique de vertido (vertederos).

GN new designed mud mixer is with a shaft to connect the electric motor and gear box. Like the photo below.

The previous and common design is directly connection one, which is without connection shaft, the motor and gear box is connected directly. This design has small footprint which can save place when it is installed on the mud mixing tank, also it less the spare parts, but according to the jobsite’s feedback, it is much easier to be damaged.

The new designed shaft connection mud mixer has larger footprint compared with the previous one, but it is easier to repair and not easy wear. Clients may have various feedback for these 2 types mud mixer, we will provide according to client’s requirement.

There are 2 ways to adjust the speed of decanter centrifuge:

1 Use 3 extra pulleys, when you want to use different speed, you can change the pulley accordingly.  for example, use middle speed to recycle the barite, use high speed to separate fine particles. By this way, you save the cost of VFD control panel, but it takes a long time to replace the pulleys. 

2 Use VFD control panel, it is the common way we used now. The variable speed drive control panel can be made with PLC control, with IEC ex or ATEX or UL certificate for explosion proof. When you start the centrifuge, you can adjust a lower frequency to protect the motors, after it works smoothly, you can adjust the frequency to your required speed. Even though it costs more compared with the 1^st way, but it is much more convenient for operation.

The photo above is GN designed new VFD control panel for VFD decanter centrifuge, it is with small footprint and safe, easy operation.

Oil & gas drilling flare ignitor (igniter) is used to fire the harmful gas in hazardous environments, like drilling site. It is not included in drilling rig solids control equipments, but it is closed related to solids control system, so GN put flare ignitors and mud gas separators with solids control equipments together. More and more drilling site are asked to set up a flare ignitor, if you need it immediately, pls contact GN solids control for air transport.  

Degasser Vacuum-Flo 1200 is with treating capacity 1200gpm, similar with GN ZCQ270 vacuum degasser, for vacuum degasser in stock & immediate shipment, welcome to contact GN solids control. 

Unlike traditional vacuum degasser, ZCQ270 vacuum degasser is a self-contained unit. The gas-cut mud is drawn into the degasser by a vacuum created by a regenerative vacuum without centrifugal pump. Moreover, it can act as a big agitator for the drilling mud, to help the treatment for desander and desilter.

Coal-Bed Methane (CBM) Drilling is performed with rotary and core drilling equipment. Rotary rigs are used to drill and set casing for production wells, and, along with core drills, are used to drill long directionally-drilled holes into coal seams from which coal-bed methane gas is extracted.  Due to the occurrence of gas, blow-out preventers are often needed.

There are thousands of parts of a shale shaker. Mainly it includes shaker deck, shaker screen, vibration motor, buffer box, shaker deck angle adjustment device, shaker skid, bracket, control panel and damping spring, the other parts are small parts like screw, nuts, rubbers, wedge, flange, etc.

Usually different shakers produce by different manufacturers are different size in spare parts, only the shaker screen size might be similar. If you install the bracket with desander

 cone and desilter cone on top of the shale shaker, it called mud cleaner. 

“Zarandas lineales” is also called linear motion shale shaker, there are “Zarandas lineales”,“elípticas zarandas” by vibration mode. At present “Zarandas lineales” are the most popular type shale shaker used in the oilfield.

Shale shaker is used to separate most of the solids from the drilling fluids so that the mud can be re-used, its working principle is to use the vibration strength to separate the solids from the shaker screens, so there are 2 important factor to determine the shaker performance: G-force &shaker screen.
