Vacuum tank degasser for drilling fluids

Normally there are 2 types degassers in solids control
drilling fluids system, one is vacuum tank degasser, the other one is Atmospheric
Degasser. GN solids control produce vacuum tank degasser for oil & gas
drilling solids control system.

We have 2 models vacuum tank degasser, GNZCQ270 &
GNZCQ360, both of them with 920mm diameter vacuum tank, and with same footprint
same dimension. GNZCQ270 with treating capacity 270m3/h, GNZCQ360 with treating
capacity 360m3/h. We will choose correct model according to the drilling rig

degasser because it is self-suction type.

Decanter centrifuge screw conveyor manufacturer in Houston

As one of the

The material of the whole screw conveyor is stainless
steel 316L, the flight of the screw conveyor is protected by the tungsten
carbide tiles over 4mm thickness, the material is YG8 with hardness factor
89HRC. The main bowl is made of duplex stainless steel 2205, which is better
than SS316 and SS304. The other bowl assy is made of SS316L. This is the basic
configuration of GN premium decanter centrifuge. The opening of the screw
conveyor can increase the treating capacity and make the performance better. The
tungsten carbide tiles are interchangeable when the old ones are damaged.

Even GN economic configuration decanter centrifuge,

The screw conveyor inside the centrifuge bowl is the
essential parts for a decanter centrifuge, the design and protection of the
screw conveyor will directly influence the centrifuge’s performance. The bowl

Mud dewatering unit for oil drilling in Argentina

Oil drilling mud dewatering
unit
is used to use chemicals to remove the fine solids from the water based
drilling fluids, it has been used in Argentina, Singapore, Nigeria and other
countries in the world.

We
have used the mud dewatering unit for oil sludge waste separation for COSL(China Oilfield Services Limited). Details

. But mostly we only use the mud dewatering unit for water based drilling mud.

GN high speed and variable speed decanter
centrifuge GNLW363CG-VFD and GNLW363CG separation point is 2~5 microns, so it
can remove the solids bigger than 5 microns. For the fastest speed decanter
centrifuge
with 3800rpm and 3000G , its separation point is 1~2 microns, which
can separate finer solids, but the working efficiency is not 100%, compared
with mud dewatering unit.

In some cases, the solids particles smaller
than 5 microns need to separated in the water based drilling waste, we will use
dewatering unit by flocculation to make the solids enhanced for easy separation
of the decanter centrifuge.

The dewatering unit can be installed inside a
20ft/40ft container together with the decanter centrifuge, with air
conditioner, the purpose is for easy transportation and rain proof, sun proof.
It can be also made on one skid and put it on the ground or mud tank skid, the centrifuge
With VFD control panel are made as a unit with mud tank. The dewatering unit on
top of the tank to save place or on the skid for easy transportation. The latter
way is to save the cost for container, but you must need a sun/rain proof
cover.

Submersible slurry pump for feeding the shale shaker

Submersible
slurry pump
can be used in different applications for oil & gas drilling
solids control system and mud recycling system. The applications are as below:

(1)   
Feeding pump for shale shaker in the mud recycling
system for HDD, water well drilling, CBM.

(2)   
Feeding pump for decanter centrifuge when there is
no enough place for the horizontal screw pump for different industries, oil
drilling , dewatering unit, drilling waste management system.

(3)   
Mixing pump with mixing hopper, because the
submersible slurry pump is vertical installed, which can save the place and
remain the storage capacity, but pls notice the lift and working pressure to
match the venturi hopper.

(4)   
Feeding pump for complete
desander/ desilter unit/ mud cleaning system from the mud pit, remember to
choose the correct model with proper lift, because the flow rate and lift will
loss during the transferring in the long distance. The normal submersible
length is 1.5m, and max 1.8m. If the mud pit or mud tank is very high, and you
need longer submersible length, we will suggest to use hose/pipe for the extra
length, or use the Submerged pump fully under the liquid level.

If there
are small rocks and high solids content in the mud, the submersible slurry pump
is pretty suitable because the impeller is with special wearable hard surface .Centrifugal
pump, screw pump can not be used in such applications, hose pump is another
option for such projects.

Compared
with the horizontal installed pumps, like centrifugal pump, shear pump, screw
pump, the vertical submersible slurry pump required small space and keep the
storage capacity and free of maintenance and reliable performance. There is no
bearing and gland seal between impeller and pump body, so the slurry pump is
maintance-free and high temperature resistance.

Water based drilling cuttings disposal in South America

Water based
drilling mud and oil based drilling fluids are applied together for one land
drilling rig because of the various purpose of the drilling. One package of
drilling waste management or drilling cuttings disposal unit which be used for
both water based drilling cuttings and oil based drilling cuttings are very helpful
for the drilling rigs, it can less the cost for the drilling waste management
system and reduce the space to locate the system, so that you can reduce your total

Last
week we went to the jobsite of a CNPC drilling rig to check the performance of
our drilling waste management system working with water based drilling
cuttings. The discharged mud from the decanter centrifuge is dry enough and

Including
GNCD930C-VFD vertical cuttings dryer with telescopic skid and the flushing pump
on the skid, the VFD control panel are installed besides the skid, there are a

screw conveyor to transfer the dry material to the top of the vertical cuttings

Working process of GN stabilization/
solidification unit:

(1)Oil
sludge waste collection hopper collects all the drill cuttings & oil sludge
waste, transported to the mixing chamber by the screw conveyor.
2) Cement storage box is keeping cements powder, through the tubular screw
conveyor, powders are sent to the mixer at pre-set capacity.
3) In the same way, absorber is kept in a box, then sent to the mixer by tubular
screw conveyor.
4) The high-shear mixer mixes all the material, and push to the front at the
same time.
