A typical system can integrate shale shaker screening, hydrocyclone separation, centrifugal separation, and slurry storage or conditioning equipment. The multi-stage separation process progressively removes coarse, medium, and fine particles from the slurry.
This allows the separated water or slurry to be returned to the TBM circulation system, while the discharged solids can be further handled according to project requirements.
