Turning Tank Cleaning Waste into a Manageable Stream
The objective of the treatment system is not simply to remove water from the waste. More importantly, it is to separate different components so that each stream can be managed appropriately.
Wastewater generated during tank cleaning is collected and transferred into the treatment system. Through a combination of screening, solid-liquid separation, chemical conditioning, and fine separation, suspended solids and residual drilling mud can be progressively removed from the liquid phase.
This process reduces the solids load in the wastewater and produces a cleaner liquid stream that can be directed to further treatment, reuse, or controlled disposal according to the customer’s site requirements.
