GN mud agitator is made of explosion-proof motor, worm gear reducer. Impeller shaft, mounting plate, elastic coupling, and rigid coupling. Impeller shaft including impellers( single or double), shaft, stabilizer,etc. Impeller size depends on the customer’s mud density & viscosity&,mud tank size, it can be adjusted. Usually the impeller shaft diameter is fixed for same model, totally we have 4 models, JBQ5.5(7.5HP), JBQ7.5(10HP),JBQ11(15HP), JBQ15(20HP).

The keyed motor and driven impeller shafts are rigidly connected by a multi-piece coupling, which uses tapered locking bushings to secure the shafts together. Shaft lengths are customized to suit customer specifications. For shafts longer than 8’, a stabilizer is mounted on the tank bottom to support the lower end of the shaft.

GN mud agitator impeller is fixed to the shaft with bolts to avoid rotating or sway (connection with key groove optional). Its vertical location on the shaft is determined as a height from the tank bottom corresponding to the impeller diameter times 0.75. For example, a 20” impeller should be mounted 15” above the bottom. GN recommends straight impeller blades for tanks under 5’ deep and canted blades for deeper tanks. If dual impellers are desired, straight blades are mounted on the bottom and the canted blade impeller is installed at a point about two-thirds above the tank bottom.

TBM is short for Tunneling boring machines, which are used as an alternative to drilling and blasting (D&B) methods in rock and conventional “hand mining” in soil. Tunnels of less than a metre or so in diameter are typically done using trenchless construction methods or horizontal directional drilling(HDD) rather than TBMs.

Before packing material is the main seal for centrifugal pump in China, but in oilfield it is inconvenient to replace the packing seal time by time, it is too easy to damage, compare with packing, mechanical seal is much more durable, even if with high cost.

Centrifugal pump mechanical seals consist of two basic parts, a rotating element attached to the pump shaft and a stationary element attached to the pump casing. Each of these elements has a highly polished sealing surface. The polished faces of the rotating and stationary elements come into contact with each other to form a seal that prevents leakage along the shaft.

There are 2 ways to treat the drilling mud, chemical treatment and mechanical treatment. Chemical treatment usually works together with mechanical treatment. Chemical treatment is to use chemical material to add into the drilling mud to get the ideal result.

Mechanical treatment is to use the 4-phase mud cleaning equipments , including shale shaker, desander, desilter, decanter centrifuge to separate large solids from the mud and keep the mud balance. If finally after centrifuge treatment, the mud will not be recycled and re-used, they may continue to use chemical treatment to get clean water and solids, the water will be drain off to the river and the solids will be used for cementing factory. Bentonite recycling equipment from drilling fluids maybe a equipment ( decanter centrifuge) or a complete unit(mud recycling system, including shale shaker, hydrocyclones, decanter centrifuge, mud tank, centrifugal pump,etc). Circulation system on a drilling rig is the circulation of drilling mud during the drilling process. During drilling, it increased a lot of drilling mud with cuttings, the circulation system will use 4-phase or 3-phase separation equipments to separate the un-useful cuttings from it and get clean drilling mud to reuse for the drilling, the cuttings will be collected by a storage box for further process, so that it can meet the environment emission standard.

The circulation system produced by GN solids control usually include shale shaker, desander/desilter, ( sometimes we choose either of them or both of them), decanter centrifuge(depends on what kind of drilling you are doing).

Desander is the 2nd phase of separation in drilling fluids circulation system for drilling rig. It is a completely mechanical equipment, do not consist of any electric or hydraulic drive.

The most common desander produced by GN solids control is composed of 2 desander cone, 1 bracket, solids discharge trough. Desander can be assembled by different qty hydrocyclones, e.g. 1pc cone with 500gpm processing rate, 2pcs cones with 1000gallons/min processing rate, 3pcs cones with 1500gpm process rate.

Except for desander, the 1st phase of separation is shale shaker, the 3rd phase of separation is desilter, the 4th phase of separation is decanter centrifuge. The structure of desilter is similar with desander, just replace the 10” desander cone with 4” desilter cone.
