Una eficiente planta de separación de lodos TBM es la base para el uso exitoso de las máquinas perforadoras (TBM) soportadas por lodos. La planta de separación GN Slurry es popular para el proyecto de máquinas AVN y máquinas de hundimiento de ejes. El proceso de la planta de separación de lechada de TBM cuenta con una zaranda que eliminará las partículas grandes de la suspensión de TBM. Una bomba centrífuga horneará la lechada y alimentará a los hidrociclones gruesos. Un agitador de deshidratación debajo de los hidrociclones gruesos secará los sólidos. La otra bomba centrífuga bombeará la lechada a hidrociclones finos para la separación de sólidos por encima de 20 micrones. El agitador fino deshidrata la descarga de sólidos descargada de los hidrociclones finos. La centrífuga decantadora separará los sólidos por encima de 2-5 micrones sin productos químicos. Y la centrífuga decantadora mejorada químicamente separará los sólidos por encima de 1 micro.
