El separador gas-lodo es para separar y ventear de forma segura grandes bolsas de gas libre que pudieran tener gases toxicos talescomo acido sulfhidrico. Si el fluido de perforación es invadido con gas, su peso especifico y viscocidad cambiaría en gran medida. Por lo que, el lodo bentonítico no sería calificado para cumplir los requerimientos de perforación de pozos. Puede contribuir a problemas en pozos e incluso accidentes de derrames “blowout”.

For some project of oil, workover drilling and geothermal drilling, which needs the drilling mud overflow to the shale shaker buffer box directly, sometimes the well head height is not so high, GN provide low-profile shale shaker to meet the special requirement. The minimum weir height of GNZS703 shale shaker can reach 500mm, with 6.5 ~7.0 G, screen area 28sq.ft.We already shipped a complete mud system to New Zealand with such low-profile shale shaker.

GN at MIOGE 2013

MIOGE 2013( full name: Moscow Internatioanl Oil & Gas Exhibition ) will be held in Moscow in Russia from June 25^th to 28^th. GN will show GNZS703 linear motion shale shaker on the show. This is not the first time GN exhibited there.

Russian-speaking regions is a big market for oil & gas drilling industry, GN has exported many equipments there, including shale shaker, decanter centrifuge, centrifugal pump, mud agitator, shaker screens, mud recycling system, vertical cutting dryer, etc.

Trailer mounted mud system for CBM

Trailer mounted rig usually need the mud system also be trailer mounted and compact design, easy transportation. GN just shipped a set of trailer mounted mud system for CBM to the user. Because the drilling mud outlet from the borehole is lower, we have to design the mud recycling tank very low so that the mud can flow to the buffer box of shale shaker without a slurry pump. It saved equipment cost and power for the client.

The trailer mounted mud system including 2 shale shaker, 1 mini desander, mini desilter and 1ea middle speed decanter centrifuge installed on 2 mud tanks, 1 is for recycling tank, 1 is for mixing tank with separate jet mud mixer.

Centrifuge decanter in Venezuela

See the photo below, this is GN decanter centrifuge works in Venezuela, except centrifuge decanter, we also have shale shaker, mud cleaner, centrifugal pump, such kind of solids control equipments work in Venezuela and other South America countries. The centrifuges are shipped with a bracket which can adjust the height. When it arrived at site, the user need to make a new stand to have the centrifuge on, and use bolts to fix them together. Also the user need to make a new long solids discharge trough and put it on the high stand, same with the fluids outlet.

OTC 2013 equipments

GN solids control just came back from OTC2013 which is held in Houston, Reliant Park. GN showed decanter centrifuge and vertical cutting dryer on our booth and they have been sold out during the show. A lot of oilfield products manufacturers showed their advanced equipments, GN was one of them, and we met with many clients who showed interests in our drilling waste management equipments-vertical cutting dryer. This is the 2^nd year for GN to attend this Offshore Technology Conference in Houston. And our booth number is Arena 9351.

Rig tank agitators

GN made some changes on the design of rig tank agitators. Mud agitator is normally installed on top of the rig mud tank, it is used for agitating and mixing. GN provide 2 type of impellers, one is single impeller with larger diameter, the other one is double impeller with smaller size, but the top size and down size is same.

The impeller shaft is directly coupled to an electric drive motor that is available in several horsepower ratings from 7.5 to 25. Mud agitator design should based on tank dimension, inner depth and mud condition.

GN horizontal agitators utilize worm gear drive. Welding type or casting type impeller for option.
