GN new designed drilling mud decanter centrifuge GNLW363G adopted a new designed lubrication system compared with traditional Chinese centrifuge, you should lubricate the equipment according to the schematic view of lubrication position, the lubrication table is showed on a steel plate which is connected by bolts with centrifuge.

The centrifuge has two lubrication points, including main bearings respectively at the big and small ends of the bowl. N220 hyperbolic gear oil should be chosen for the gearbox lubrication in winter while N320 hyperbolic gear oil should be chosen in summer.

At the factory, this centrifuge has been filled with sufficient grease at each bearing, and the gearbox and hydro-coupling have been filled with sufficient oil, which has experienced no-load running test for 4 hours. When new machine or unit after storage is again put into operation, the user should examine that whether each lubrication point, gearbox and hydro-coupling have trace of oil leakage and fill oil if necessary.

GNLW363G and GNLW363VFD centrifuges can be used for barite recovery when their rotary speed is adjusted to middle speed. We can provide middle speed pulley for GNLW363G centrifuge when it is used for barite recovery. GNLW363VFD centrifuge is variable frequency drive centrifuge.

When operation, increase the pond depth until the recovered solids become “runny”. Buoyant force reduces the torque to convey solids out of the centrifuge. A shallow pond creates a long beach section. Once the solids exit the pool, the extra energy required to convey these solids results in higher torque.

GN showed drilling fluids decanter centrifuge in 16th Colombia Oil & Gas Show (XV International Petroleum Conference and Exhibition) in Bogota. GN is the only solids control equipments manufacturer who takes decanter centrifuge there, and we already sold the centrifuge during the show.

The showed centrifuge model is GNLW363G, which is high speed decanter centrifuge, it could be adjustable speed by different size pulleys or VFD control panel. We provided PLC controlled VFD control panel as option.

Mud tank is used for storage, mixing the drilling mud in a drilling mud recycling system, there are various types mud tanks, the normal shape is square mud tank. After a long period drilling operation, there will be some sludge with oil and solids accumulated in the bottom of the mud tank. Cleaning the mud tank become a big problem, the round bottom tank is better compared with the square bottom tank, but it can not avoid the problem completely. To reduce the accumulated sludge in the bottom tank as less as possible, there are 2 ways:

1 choose suitable mud agitator and mud gun for better mixing, so it can circulate in the whole system.

2 use mud tank cleaning equipments. It depends on the solids size in the bottom, firstly you can use a sieve or a shale shaker to separate the large particles, then use the decanter centrifuge to separate the fine particles, the separated solids is dry enough to throw away, the recycled fluids can be re-used to prepare for new drilling fluids. If you do not need to re-use it, you can get it into waste water treatment plant for cleaning.

Chock manifold and kill manifold are used in well control to reduce the pressure from the well. Choke Manifold issued to execute new drilling-well’s technique of balance pressure. Choke Manifold can avoid pollution of oil-layer and improve the speed of drilling and control blowout effectively. The choke manifold consists of choke valves, gate valves, line pipes, fittings, pressure gauges and other components.

Kill manifold in well-control system is to pump drilling fluid into well barrel or inject the water into wellhead.

Chock manifold is usually used together with mud gas separator (also called poor boy degasser), some jobsites will install them together on one skid for easy transportation. Pls see the photo below: mud gas separator with chock manifold on skid.
